William brings to Chuckals over ten years’ experience in sales and customer service. A graduate of the University of Washington, William was born and raised in Seattle and is the proud father of two boys. When he’s not working hard to help keep his clients’ offices running smoothly, William is an avid gardener and football fan.

Meet Chuck & Al! (Chuck-Al-s)
Chuck Hellar and Al Lynden formed Chuckals Office Products in 1994 – hence the name! Chuck is a co-owner and Chairman of the Board, while Al is also co-owner and serves as President of the company.

As long-time Tacoma-area business owners and operators, both Chuck and Al are active in our local community and proud to lend their support to a broad spectrum of deserving causes. Chuck is a past president of Tacoma Rotary 8 and a founding member of the Go Local Tacoma organization, while Al is a frequent speaker at local area schools for Business Week and Job Fairs.

In addition, they are both highly respected leaders in the office products industry nationwide. Chuck is a former board member of the National Office Products Alliance, the industry’s leading trade association, while Al has been a featured speaker at numerous industry conventions and educational events as an expert on topics such as customer relationship management and effectively leveraging technology in a business.

When they aren’t hard at work finding new ways to keep their customers’ offices running smoothly, you can find them both on the golf course or boasting proudly of their grandchildren’s latest accomplishments. Chuck and Al have both resided in the Tacoma area for over 30 years and are proud to have a successful, growing business in the heart of the City of Destiny!

John Harkins - CFO

John Harkins
Chief Financial Officer

John joined the Chuckals team in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer. A Tacoma native, John is a CPA with over six years of public accounting experience in the Puget Sound area. Additionally, he has held positions in investment management and insurance, and also spent one year volunteering for a non-profit organization in the Dominican Republic. John holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from The University of Notre Dame, and recently received an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

Lisa Dondlinger

Lisa Dondlinger  
Director of Government Compliance

Lisa joined the Chuckals staff in 2004. She loves to talk to government customers and enjoys answering account questions. Lisa recently accepted a position in management and is going to be a great asset to the team. Outside of work Lisa enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews. Maria

Maria Estrada-Harris
Director of Accounting and HR

Maria has been with Chuckals since 1997, and is Chuckals’ Financial Administration Manager. Maria enjoys working with her team, crunching numbers and solving accounting mysteries. Outside of Chuckals, Maria received her degree from the University of Washington, in March 2006!  When she isn’t at Chuckals, Maria enjoys singing, shopping, and spending time with her friends, family and daughter Minette.

Dan Crawford

Director of Operations

With 35 years in the printing and graphics business Dan brings experience and creativity to the Chuckals team.  Since 2001, Dan has served as Chuckals Database Administrator.  As a Microsoft Certified Professional Dan keeps the IT department operational.  His other responsibilities include managing purchasing and the supply chain, our warehouse, delivery and installation team, and facilities management for the corporate office in Tacoma Washington and our office in Alexandria Virginia.  Dan continues to take on new projects and strives to bring top-notch technology to our small local business. Email Dan: crawfordd@chuckals.net

Klaus Nalley
Sales Manager

As the sales manager, Klaus oversees the day to day operations of the sales staff. Klaus has been in the office products business since 1989, and with Chuckals since 1994. . Danna joined Chuckals in 2008. She brings with her over 25 years of sales experience and specializes in “customer service excellence”. In her free time, Danna loves being with her grandchildren, beach combing, and volunteering. She also is on the board of Veterans Independent Enterprises of Washington.

Kayleen has recently joined us as a key member of the Chuckals team. Kayleen provides full service account management to coordinate sales and insure furniture projects are executed on schedule and within budget. Kayleen is a
people-oriented professional with over 20 years’ office furniture and real estate experience. Prior to joining Chuckals, Kayleen held sales and account management positions with several other dealerships and real estate organizations where she received numerous “Employee of the Month” awards and similar recognition for outstanding sales and customer service.

Georg Hawkes
Commercial Sales Associate

Georg has been with Chuckals since 2006.  He joined us after selling his Insurance Agency after 21 years of loyal service to his policy holders.  Georg brings with him the belief that mutual satisfaction between customers and company are what creates job security and success. During his off hours, Georg participates in a number of charitable organizations as well as, sits on the board of directors for Aids Housing Association of Tacoma and on the fundraising committee. Georg is a single father of his young son Trent who live happily together in the foothills of South Hill with their menagerie of pets including dogs, cat and fish.

Warehouse coordinator Matt Williams plays a key role in making sure Chuckals’ customers receive their orders on time and accurately. When he’s not keeping the warehouse running efficiently, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and his newborn daughter.

Donny has been with Chuckals since 1998. Donny is the lead driver at Chuckals Office Products and keeps things running smooth on the road. What Donny likes best about his job are the customers. He enjoys the interaction with you, our customer. On his off time Donny enjoys bowling, softball and spending time with his kids.

David Dawkins
Route Driver

Chuckals is proud to introduce David. David delivers to our customers in Fife, Puyallup, and Spanaway.  David brings years of delivery and customer service experience to the Chuckals team.

Route Driver

Gary has been with Chuckals since 2000. Gary says he is blessed to have so many nice customers to work with. He looks forward every morning to find out who he will get to go see. He also enjoys the beautiful scenery on his route along the Tacoma waterfront and the Key Peninsula. Gary enjoys gardening & yard work. He has over 70 roses in his front yard that take up most of his time March through October.

Todd Cheney - Furniture Installation

Furniture installer Todd Cheney plays a key role for Chuckals in making sure our customers' furniture projects run on time and trouble-free. When he's not working on furniture installs, Todd is an avid photographer and photography instructor. Married to Francine, with two sons, John and Ben, he lives in Tacoma.

Lori Walter
Purchasing Manager

Lori has been with Chuckals, Inc. since the very beginning!  She was with the organization back in the early '80's when it was known as Taylor's Office Supply.  Lori has served in many positions but has truly found her niche in Purchasing.  While not at work, Lori enjoys bowling, reading, doing carpentry work with her parents and spending time with her son.

Crystal Cook
Marketing & Events Coordinator

Crystal joined the Chuckals team in August of 2005. Crystal joined the marketing team shortly after coming to Chuckals and has been a great addition to our team. Crystal has also got the opportunity to work with web design here at Chuckals as well as attends and coordinates our customer appreciation events and trade shows. Crystal grew up in eastern Washington and has lived in the western part of the state for the past 12 years. She brings years of customer service and travel experience to Chuckals. Crystal enjoys spending time with her fiance, her 9-year-old daughter Taylor & planning a wedding for spring of 2012.

Carol joined the Chuckals family in 2003, bringing 26 years of office products experience with her. She specializes in custom projects, specifically printing and furniture. Away from work, Carol enjoys spending time with her husband & 2 sons. Carol & her family enjoys camping, traveling & family gatherings. Carol encourages her family to enjoy life and do their best.

Tracy recently joined Chuckals in 2008 bringing with her several years of customer service and photographic and audio visual knowledge. Outside of work she enjoys spending as much time with her family as she can whether it is a camping trip or just sitting down and watching a good movie.
